Airport Information
International, and commercial
air service for the region is provided by the San
Diego International Airport. Public transit is available via the
Flyer
Route No. 992, a Metropolitan Transit System bus that travels to
and from the Airport and downtown San Diego , stopping between Terminals
1 and 2 and the Commuter Terminal.

or train, the San Diego Convention Center is located 3 miles from San
Diego International Airport and less than one mile from the Amtrak
Station. The
San Diego Trolley has two stops directly in front of the Center
at Harbor Drive/First Avenue and Harbor Drive/Fifth Avenue.

Passports and Visas
It is a requirement by the United States of America (USA) that in order to enter the country under the visa waiver program that all new passports issued after October 26, 2005 must be machine readable and contain biometrics. If you have a passport that was issued before October 26, 2005 and is still valid you do not need to worry about the visa waiver program.
