Getting Started
SolidWorks Sustainability simplifies sustainable design. It puts the power of life cycle assessment (LCA) in your hands, providing an accurate, cradle-to-grave look at how your product’s development and use affect the environment. SolidWorks Sustainability lets you seamlessly integrate product design with LCA, so you can instantly see how different design approaches will alter a product’s overall environmental impact.
So how do you get started? First, you need to be a SolidWorks user. If you’re not, click here to learn how you can bring your products to life with SolidWorks software. If you’re using SolidWorks 2009, you can either upgrade to SolidWorks 2010, or you can download SolidWorks SustainabilityXpress at SolidWorks Labs.
If you have SolidWorks 2010, congratulations! You already have SolidWorks SustainabilityXpress and the power to design for a better environment.
