JOB TITLE: Siebel Developer
LOCATION: Concord, MA
DESCRIPTION: We seek an experienced Siebel developer as part of the development team within the MIS organization. This is a technical role with in-depth knowledge of Siebel and its ancillary applications. Apart from development this position would also involve problem analysis and extensive QA activities. Duties are as follows: • Analyze requirements. • Translate user requirements to technical specifications. • Design solutions. • Code and configure the applications based on specifications. • Review code and configurations. • Perform optimization to the applications to enhance performance. • Test the application pre-release. • Perform Production maintenance. • Address and fix any production bugs. • Write and maintain technical documentations.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 2 years of experience developing in Siebel.
EDUCATION: BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS: The Individual must be highly self-motivated, inquisitive, with a proven track record of achieving goals. This position will require the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. Additional requirements include: Must be experienced with exceptional knowledge of Siebel configuration, EAI, Workflow, eScript, VB Script, Smart Script, and Assignment Manager. • Must have good command of all the basic Siebel Administration tasks like creating Roles, Views, LOVs, Tasks, and Responsibilities. • Expertise with Server Administration tasks such as dropping and creating triggers, creating components, creating extracts. • Must have good knowledge and experience with at least one of the following: o Siebel Horizontal application (Call Center, Marketing, or Service, Sales) o Siebel Portal application ( eChannel, eService, or eMarketing). • Should possess working knowledge of HTML, XML, Java Script and SQL. Knowledge of EIM is a definite plus. • Above average communication & organizational skills as well as extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
