JOB TITLE: Territory Sales Manager – Eastern Canada
LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario
DESCRIPTION: The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for developing and establishing sales channel relationships with Value Added Resellers (VAR’s) of SolidWorks in the assigned territory. The TSM in coordination with the local Major Account Manager and SolidWorks reseller (VAR) is also responsible for supporting major accounts initiatives. • Drive the sales activities of the reseller channel initiating marketing & sales initiatives with channel partners to ensure that the level of demand creation is sufficient to establish a sales pipeline commensurate with the sales goal. • Recruit and train new resellers where necessary to establish the appropriate sales coverage. • Provide territory management data including forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to SolidWorks management providing basis for sales planning. • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business opportunities and develop, present and demonstrate SolidWorks capabilities to the customer. • Introduce and integrate SolidWorks technical resources, VAR personnel and Solution Partners to the customer to demonstrate capability, educate customer personnel and facilitate sales management. • Communicate effectively with VAR’s in implementing SolidWorks sales strategies appropriately integrating VAR resources in the sales process and implementation plan. • Lead the implementation of professional technology proposals by the channel partners. • Analyze potential problems and address customer issues. • Provide and coordinate pre & post-sales support.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7+ years experience in Technology Solutions Sales with strong knowledge of the MCAD / CAE industry.
EDUCATION: BS Degree in Business, Technology or equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS: • Strong knowledge of the MCAD or CAE industry. • 7 or more years of experience in Technology Solutions Sales • 5 or more years of direct sales management experience, with a successful record of sales performance • 3 or more years of experience with an indirect sales channel model • Excellent communication and presentation skills • In addition, the candidate will also possess the ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, have superior organizational/time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude.
