JOB TITLE: Software Development Manager - PDMWorks
LOCATION: Concord, MA
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a technical leader for one of the PDM development teams. The PDM division as a whole has a mission to bring innovate and cutting edge product data management (PDM) solutions that fulfil a wide range of customer needs. As a development manager you will be tasked with driving technology innovation to provide an outstanding customer experience and enabling the team to create high quality technical solutions for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and participate in software design and implementation. • Operational responsibility for the team. • Coordinate the team’s development efforts with peer development managers. • Contribute to strategic technology decisions.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience in software design and C++ development and at least 3 years experience in leading a highly qualified technical team. Documented software project management skills required.
EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline required. MS degree preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: • Strong proficiency with C++ development. • Additional desired experience includes CAD, PDM, and database technology. • Strong ability to develop and communicate business and technical requirements in direct collaboration with customers. • Deep technical background with a strong conceptual understanding of commercial software development. • Willingness to travel • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to meet aggressive schedules.
