JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Integration
LOCATIONS: Concord, MA
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a software engineer to work in our integration group. This position will provide the opportunity to help build and release SolidWorks and associated applications in a world-wide development infrastructure. Job profile involves executing, monitoring and improving build processes and tools. Candidate should be smart and have a positive, can-do attitude.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in the integration group of a software company. Perl, VBScript and MS SQL server/databases knowledge required. Knowledge of source control systems and build/release methodology expected.
EDUCATION: BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree.
REQUIREMENTS: • Hands on experience with integration processes at a software company developing packaged applications. • Extensive scripting experience with Perl and VBScript. • Experience with integrating scripts and database servers. • Programming experience with C++. • Understanding of how applications are built, tested, and deployed within a development organization. • Experience with Windows programming, Microsoft networking, and authoring database-driven web sites highly desirable. • Capable of multi-tasking and meeting critical deadlines.
