JOB TITLE: QA Engineer, Drawings
LOCATION: Concord, MA
DESCRIPTION: This position will test SolidWorks 2D drawings functionality. You will join the team responsible for maintaining our demanding product quality standards. You will be responsible for interactive testing and reporting/verifying problems with SolidWorks drawings. You will work closely with the application development team to help identify and resolve problems, drawing upon your strong Mechanical Engineering Design skills.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3+ years industrial design experience creating drawings, assemblies and solid models. Strong knowledge of production drawings and production detailing required. Foreign language fluency is a definite plus.
EDUCATION: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Higher levels of academic achievement preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: • A strong understanding of drawing practices and drafting standards as well as geometry and parametric solids based part & assembly modeling. • Above average communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience with a variety of solid modeling based CAD applications and production drawings. • Experience with SolidWorks MCAD solid modeling, drawings and PDM software is strongly desired. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast moving development team. • Appreciation for aggressive goals; have superior organizational/time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude.
