Position Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance ETL mappings from source systems into the data warehouse to support and generate standard and ad hoc BI capabilities from new and existing data sources. Develop and modify queries, analyze source data of different types and design programs for data integration. Configure and customize OBIEE server meta data (Administration Tool), OBIEE hierarchies, and DAC Sequencer. Work with Siebel EIM processes and perform unit testing in the development instance as the project reaches the Build/Test stages. Assist with additional testing as the projects progress through to production release
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or five years of experience as a Programmer Analyst. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus three years of experience will be accepted in lieu of the Bachelor’s plus five requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with ETL development with Informatica and Business Intelligence systems; Siebel Analytics; OBIEE, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SMTP, DTS, SSIS, Oracle Databases, SQL Server Databases; MSMQ and API; business processes and information systems and concepts; PC and desktop applications; applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedure; and using formal development processes and/or methodologies required.
Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge or experience with computer science; all Windows OS development environments including MS Visual Studio, Visual C++, MFC and STL; linear algebra, geometry, math and related programming skills; design and implement software algorithms as part of an overall complex software system; programming skills with a working knowledge of CAD systems; user facing applications and programming with geometric kernels (like Parasolid, ACIS, etc.) required.
