RESPONSIBILITES: As a Software Engineer - eDrawings, you will design and implement new user functionality in the eDrawings (CAD viewer) product. Implementations will include all areas of a viewing application, including user interface, graphics, on-screen interaction, geometric utilities/ algorithms, etc. As our candidate of choice, you will show innovative thinking, as well as, intuitive understanding of ease-of-use. You will also demonstrate a well developed problem-solving ability and a collaborative demeanor. Above all, you will be eager to learn and keen to improve and extend new technologies and techniques, even outside of the area of your immediate expertise.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of C/C++ Windows software development coupled with practical experience in UI and graphics development
EDUCATION: BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Hands-on experience with commercial software development with a focus upon end-to-end implementation of software features
• Experience with C, C++ • Experience with C# and/or C++/CLI preferred
• Hands-on experience with OpenGL / HOOPS
• Experience with programming on other platforms, especially Mac is a bonus
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, changeable environment
• Assuming responsibility, and following guidelines to deliver high-quality software projects while meeting critical deadlines
