Job Description: Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corporation, a market leader in software for mechanical design, analysis, and product data management is seeking a Manager, SolidWorks Drawing at our Concord, Massachusetts facility. This person will:

Manage development group responsible for designing and implementing new user functionality in the detailing and drawing portion of the SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings application development group within the Research and Development division.

Develop plans for new versions of SolidWorks Drawings package.

Work closely with Product Definition, QA and other team members in SolidWorks R&D division for delivering new software solutions and eliminates limitations which prevent the successful use of SolidWorks mechanical design software.

Provide design input with user interface, geometric modeling and geometric utilities aspects of codes.

Responsible for removing limitations and extending system capabilities in the area of CAD Detailing and Drawings.

Provide technical oversight and guidance to Drawings Development team members. Responsible for delivery of all projects in SolidWorks CAD Detailing and Drawings.

Provide programming capabilities.

Understanding of complex CAD architecture.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study plus five years of experience in the job offered or five years of experience as a Software Designer, Module Leader (Software) or Technical Expert/Leader (Software). Applicant must demonstrate experience with CAD detailing, CAD drawings, design and implementing software algorithms, windows OS including MSDEV studios, Visual C++ and MFC.
