Title: Global Marketing Communication/Localization Intern
Location: Concord, MA
Timing: Spring/Summer 2009 – Fall 2009
Description: Assist in managing the translation and adaptation of a wide variety of marketing tools for global markets. Responsibilities include interfacing with our international marketing team from all parts of the world and external localization and marketing communication agencies. As our ideal candidate, you will be proactive, collaborative, willing to learn, and dedicated to producing results.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with project management to deliver high-quality results, in up to 12 languages, under tight deadlines.
• Handling projects in diverse formats like Quark, InDesign, HTML, Flash, Camtasia/ AVI. Deep working knowledge of these formats is not required.
Qualifications:
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Keen attention to details and accuracy.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of one or more foreign languages, preferably Japanese, French, German, or Portuguese, is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with and interest in the web and multimedia. Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, culturally-diverse environment.
