Job Title:  Technical Support Intern

Location:   Concord, MA

Timing:   Spring/Summer 2009 – Fall 2009

Description:  

• Providing telephone/e-mail technical support to DS SolidWorks customers and resellers.
• Analyzing, tracking, and resolving customer issues in a professional, timely manner.
• Interacting with R&D and QA staff to investigate and resolve problems.
• Developing workarounds and modeling techniques for specific modeling situations; Communicating these solutions to customers and resellers.
• Helping to develop and implement web based support initiatives including knowledge bases, technical/modeling techniques, and model libraries.

Qualifications: Prefer individuals with SolidWorks and/or SolidWorks Simulation software experience. Preference toward candidate with design experience using solid modeling based MCAD and/or FEA systems in an industrial or college environment.  Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a team.
