JOB TITLE: Technical Marketing Specialist, SolidWorks Partner Team
LOCATION: Boston Campus ~ Waltham, MA
Define and deploy plans to increase strategic partner visibility with the field sales force and marketplace; proactively deliver valuable information surrounding key partner solutions
o Plan and coordinate the delivery of web-based training/awareness
• Maintain program level criteria; facilitate partner certifications
• Meet regularly with strategic technology partners to increase activity and capabilities
• Become the voice that champions solution partner in marketing programs, and balances that perspective with corporate objectives
• Monitor, analyze, test and report market activity
• Implement partner related programs associated with major user events
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong background in understanding the MCAD business, marketplace, and user needs
• Working knowledge of industry software applications such as rapid prototyping, machining, sheet metal, FEA and parts libraries
• Strategic Account Management – maintaining activity levels with select partners
• Desire to leverage marketing program delivery tools (IT, i.e. GoToMeeting)
• Superior problem solving abilities
• Strong communication skills -- interpersonal, oral and written; position includes public/group speaking responsibility
• Strong organizational/time management skills
• Live events coordination, e.g. User Conference programs involving partners
