COSMOSMotion Licensing Steps

Note: The following steps apply only to users who have purchased the SolidWorks Student Edition (2008-2009) with COSMOS Design Validation tools.

Before proceeding, please note:

• This is intended for users with either Windows XP or Window Vista operating systems
• You MUST have "administrative" rights on your computer
• The SolidWorks portion of your product must be registered and the resulting authorization code must be inserted into the SolidWorks registration field
• The COSMOSWorks and COSMOSFloWorks portions of your product must be licensed prior to licensing COSMOSMotion
• Your SolidWorks/COSMOS application must be closed

Licensing steps
The following steps are required to license the COSMOSMotion software in the Student Edition (2008-2009 version):

• Click the link below
• Select "RUN" , then follow the directions
• This process should take about 1 minute

 Using COSMOSMotion

• After this licensing process, please start SolidWorks
• Go to Tools > Add-ins to turn on COSMOSMotion or other COSMOS products you wish to run
• Your SolidWorks Student Edition COSMOS tools will now be available for use
