FIRST Internship Program

If you teach and lead a student team for the FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), or BOTS-IQ Competition, SolidWorks Corporation offers a prime opportunity to build your skills as both a CAD user and an educator.
How the program works
As a FIRST Teacher Summer Intern, you'll be matched with a mentor from the professional engineering world. In that person’s workplace, you'll learn new SolidWorks® software skills and also hone your current skills.
By the end of your internship, you'll have new insights and knowledge that you can pass along to your students, giving them a clear advantage when they set out to compete in the world of engineering and technology.
Your internship includes a SolidWorks Commercial license
You'll get more from your internship–and your mentor relationship–when you have the tools you need. That's why we give all FIRST Teacher Summer Interns a Commercial license of SolidWorks software for use at their mentoring companies.
