FIRST Robotics
When you take part in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), your team and others will solve a common problem in a six-week timeframe using a standard “kit of parts” and a common set of rules.
After building robots from the parts, you will enter them in competitions designed by Dean Kamen, Dr. Woodie Flowers, and a committee of engineers and other professionals.
The FRC rewards you and your team not only for excellence in design, but also for team spirit, gracious professionalism, and maturity – as well as for the ability to overcome obstacles – all traits that your future employers will value highly.
