: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\Bucyrus-in-frame.jpg
: Built-in tools speed the design and documentation of extremely large assemblies. Image courtesy of Bucyrus International Inc.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\pv-previewwindow.jpg
: PhotoView 360 is now fully integrated inside SolidWorks and replaces PhotoWorks. Full integration enables use of SolidWorks materials, decals, lighting, scenes, appearances, and other aspects in PhotoView 360. In addition, rendered animations can now be created using PhotoView 360 and a native 64-bit version for larger projects is now available.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\Walkthrough (Demo).jpg
: You can use the new walk-through functionality inside SolidWorks to navigate through your design at fixed eye (camera) height off a base of reference surface. Simply walk-though to examine and explain your design or capture a video of your journey. This functionality is great for exploring large machines, plants, heavy equipment but is also capable of understanding smaller designs like PCBs, control panels, or other intricate designs, etc.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\SW2011-Performance-PV360-integrated-DEMO.jpg
: Memory management has been improved such that memory is more efficiently used during prolonged sessions of SolidWorks, and for very large designs.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\Defeature_kitchenv6.jpg
: The Defeature command enables users to repurpose their existing detailed assemblies by controlling the level of detail in one simple operation. Building product manufacturers can then save their files out in IFC format for use in other applications including Autodesk® Revit®, Bentley and Graphi- Soft.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\config_publisher_multiple parent(demo).jpg
: The Configuration Publisher provides industrial component suppliers with the ability to publish configurable models of their products directly on 3D ContentCentral.com and also to their websites using Supplier Services syndication. The Configuration Publisher now supports multiple data parents for a single variable.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\config_publisher_recursive_solve(demo).jpg
: Configuration testing evaluates the validity of all or a subset of configurations defined with the Configuration Publisher. This capability can be used in conjunction with multiple parent data controls to create highly configurable, high quality models for sharing or publishing.
