It is recommended that you use the "save as" feature of your browser, and save the zip file locally before attempting to open it.
The blue "Lite" buttons you see in some fields indicate a smaller version of that particular image. Lite versions are about 200K and are in JPEG format.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\speedpak(demo).jpg
: A new top level RMB (right mouse button) command, Use SpeedPak, has been added that allows users to switch all sub-assemblies to SpeedPak configurations.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\SW2011-Routing_Lib_Mgr---DEMO.jpg
: The Routing Library Manager is a new utility that can be run without launching SolidWorks. It provides access to several new and existing functions including: • Wizards for creating routing components and cable wire, covering and electrical component libraries • Library path options • Administration tool for filtering parts • The Route Component Wizard which lets you configure additional types of piping components
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\PIP-MoveWithTriad.jpg
: Several enhancements improve usability. New triadbased in-line fitting rotation and movement uses the familiar triad and Instant3D-style protractor UI. Upon drag or drop, auto-sizing presents the proper size pipe flange or electrical connector to fit the target connection. Routing has been added to the Isolate capability so you focus on route edits, etc.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\PIP-DimOutside.jpg
: Users can now route along existing geometry to guide the route path. Examples include running a pipe route along a structural steel beam or wall segment. This now associates the O.D. of the pipe/tube/cable/conduit with the geometry (not the centerline) and facilitates running pipes through pipe hangers, pipe racks and relative positioning of pipe-to-pipe designs.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\PIP-WeldGaps.jpg
: Piping designers can now add visible weld gaps to fitting- to-fitting, pipe-to-pipe and fitting-to-pipe connections. A value for the gap can be entered and that value will be used for all the scenarios mentioned above.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\variable_helix(demo).jpg
: A variable pitch helix can now be defined using height and revolution—in addition to input of pitch value. The callouts for both constant pitch and variable pitch are now displayed in the graphics area.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\reuse_curve(demo).jpg
: Users can now use any curve in the FeatureManager for operations in other features—even curves absorbed in other features. Previously fully absorbed curves in features were not available outside of that feature.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\Revolve_to_surface_kitchen.jpg
: The revolve feature can now be defined with the end conditions ‘Up to surface’ and ‘Offset from surface’.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\PARTS-Surface-Extend-(demo).jpg
: This enhancement improves the way extended surfaces knit with intersecting surfaces to ensure the resulting surface does not split.
: SolidWorks CAD (recent)\grid_feature(demo).jpg
: The Grid System tool—located under Reference Geometry— is use to create a multi-level 3D grid for laying out large machines, skid systems, plants or other large scale designs. The grid lines and intersections can be used for positioning structural members, locating equipment at grid intersections, etc.
