It is recommended that you use the "save as" feature of your browser, and save the zip file locally before attempting to open it.
The blue "Lite" buttons you see in some fields indicate a smaller version of that particular image. Lite versions are about 200K and are in JPEG format.
: Refine or modify the mesh on a model only where you need to.
: Take results from the full model to perform a more refined analysis of a sub model.
: View evenly spaced streamlines on sections and surfaces.
: SolidWorks Simulation/2012/Flow_results_on_shells_burnt_toast.jpg
: Apply Flow Simulation Results directly to shell geometry in Simulation
: SolidWorks Simulation/2012/Motion_optimization_burnt_toast.jpg
: Motion optimization allows you to quickly evaluate many different mechanism configurations to find the best design for your needs
: SolidWorks Simulation/2012/Simulation_edge_face_bond2_burnt_toast.jpg
: Automatically bond shell edges to solid faces with increased accuracy
: SolidWorks Simulation\Sim Prem UI (shaded).jpg
: The SolidWorks Simulation UI has been improved to ease everyday functions. From viewing and editing the loads and restraints, to filtering the study tree and using equations in the load input fields. For beam models simulation will respect any cut list customization you have carried out in SW, to aid your design process. The call outs are now re-sizeable so you can see what you want to see, how you want to see it.
: SolidWorks Simulation\Sim_Motion Motion_Fn_Builder.jpg
: The motion function generator allows users to define displacement, velocity or acceleration motion drivers. The motion function generator will then build and display the profile with the profiles derivatives if applicable.
: SolidWorks Simulation\Sim_Motion PathMate Motor (shaded).jpg
: In conveyors (or indeed chain, belt or pulley drive assemblies) the driven component’s velocity, displacement or acceleration is dependent upon where it is on the conveyors path. The new path mate motor moves locally along the path allowing the conveyor to be controlled as is would be in the real world, making for a more realistic simulation.
: SolidWorks Simulation\reflected inertia (demo-shaded) w arrows.jpg
: In order to size a motor to adequately drive an assembly, one has to know the reflected inertial the motor has to drive. The reflected inertia is the inertia of the assembly that the motor ‘sees’.
