SURFCAM 6 is the latest release of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems from Surfware, Inc.
SURFCAM 6 is a significant release version for any serious CAM programmer. A large part of this release has been dedicated to taking the existing power and control available in the software today and coupling it with enhancements and features to make for an improved user experience. The addition of a 64 bit version, new and updated internal technologies, and even many new additional features and enhancements will prove this version of SURFCAM 6 to be a must for all programmers that require a tool which is easy to use while allowing programmers the ability to create toolpaths with utmost precision and control. SURFCAM has also been a Certified SolidWorks CAM partner for many years, providing SURFCAM customers with world class precision and control over their NC programming environment when using SolidWorks design models in their shops.
SURFCAM’s powerful associativity enables programmers to open native SolidWorks files directly into SURFCAM, completely eliminating the translation process. When changes are made to the SolidWorks design models, SURFCAM automatically recognizes the design revisions and offers to regenerate the affected toolpaths. With this seamless interoperability between these two systems, SURFCAM users can quickly adapt to design changes and efficiently update their toolpaths.
SURFCAM 6 also supports SolidWorks 2012 parts, assemblies, sketches and configurations and includes over 200 Post Processors for major CNC machine manufacturers.
