Vuuch is the first Enterprise Social System (ESS) for Manufacturing.
An ESS is a domain-specific application that dynamically connects people through their work, for example via CAD files, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. These deliverables are, collectively, what manufacturers use to define and develop their products.
One of the most significant breakthroughs in Vuuch is that users access the ESS within their existing tools, such as CAD and Microsoft Office. In Vuuch, if you spend your day in a CAD tool – and need to involve others in a design activity – you use Vuuch directly within the CAD tool to do so. Vuuch works with multiple CAD platforms, Microsoft Office applications as well as common PLM, ERP and CRM systems. In addition, Vuuch can be accessed via the web using a standard browser. With Vuuch ESS, there's no need to "switch out" of the tool you are working in to accomplish work.
