ADKSolid: MacroSolid

ADKSolid is a service company which faces Polish and world markets expectations in engineering software development that helps engineers in their everyday work. We specialize in creating and developing integrated software on Customer demand, which cooperates with the 3D CAD SolidWorks® system. Add-ins developed by ADKSolid are tools entirely adjusted to Customer needs. They enable better planning and aims and assumptions verification set by designers and process engineers. Thanks to our add-ins every SolidWorks® User will be really able to save time and money in his Company.

As a proposal to our Customers we offer add-ins developed from the basis as well as a far-reaching flexibility in adjusting the already existing solutions to their authorship needs. Basing on elaborated solutions enables to reduce the add-in development process for add-ins ordered by the Customer to essential minimum, at high quality of the product and its functionality remaining as the Customer precisely stated.

In ADKSolid we also elaborate on add-ins for manufacturing cost estimation for sheet metal components as well as add-ins for design for assembly analysis that use data taken from the SolidWorks® model.

MacroSolid – add-in where the most interesting ADKSolid macros were grouped. Among them the user can find such macros that automate generation of files with the name defined by the user (e.g. DXF, DRW, PDF) as well as macros that shorten the time needed to create documentation of a project (e.g. Properties, Print).

• Macros were designed in a way that they meet expectations of even most demanding Customers.
• Most of them work both with active SolidWorks document as well as with documents (files) that are in a folder directory chosen by the user.
• MacroSolid contains several macros that are designed to generate files with a possibility to plan their names.
• MacroSolid makes it possible to skip components that have keywords in their name and components which are placed in a selected folder of an assembly structure tree or which are in a selected folder directory.
• Macros work in SolidWorks® Enterprise PDM environment – after being configured
• Each next versions of macros are being developed by giving additional functionalities specified by the MacroSolid users. The proposed solutions may be individually adapted to meet expectations of all Customers.
• Number of macros included in MacroSolid add-in grows steadily.

MacroSolid in its newest version v3.18 contains 18 macros – 10 of them are payable, 8 of them are free of charge. The actual version is described next to the name of the payable macros, e.g. v1.2. The “free” symbol next to the name means that the mentioned macro is free of charge.
