Product Details:
BWIR's CAD-ERP Bridge is a one-stop solution for CAD-ERP integration. The application allows the search, creation, and update of assembly and part information from within the SolidWorks interface. This eliminates the delay of creating the item and assemblies in SolidWorks and re-entering the data into the ERP system. The kernel of the CAD-ERP Bridge has been architected to be both CAD and ERP system agnostic. It can be used to integrate any CAD system to any ERP system by developing the necessary connectors.
Features:
- New Item Creation - create and add new item details to the ERP system from SolidWorks
- Item Search - search and copy item parameters of any ERP item within SolidWorks
- Export/Update Bill of Material (BOM) - updates and exports the BOM to ERP from SolidWorks
- Where Used Inquiry - view the list of parents of any ERP item from SolidWorks
- BOM Inquiry - view the Bill of Material (BOM) of any ERP item from SolidWorks
Benefits:
- Increases engineering productivity
- Enhances data integrity
- Streamlines engineering workflow
- Minimizes the creation of new items through a competitive item search
