CT4SW is a fully integrated CATIA V4 native interface for SolidWorks® that is very easy to use and offers the highest reliability available on the market.

CT4SW converts models containing both highly complex geometry and extensive assembly structures—using feature recognition, healing functions, and automatic data repair native interfaces for CATIA V4 and other software (on request).

The software was specially developed for data conversion and includes smart correction algorithms that automatically eliminate system and construction-related errors in the geometry, such as overlapping, gaps, and mini-elements.

Furthermore, the Advanced Repair Technology consistently orientates surface vectors, reduces multi-patch surfaces, and creates topology. Quilts are corrected fully automatically and sewn together into solids of user-defined accuracy for SolidWorks® and CATIA.

The adaptive conversion optimizes the mathematical description of the models for the respective target system e.g. SolidWorks by identifying canonical surfaces such as cylinders, planes and conical primitives as well as freeform NURBS surfaces. This technology ensures topologically consistent models that can be optimally processed in the target system. After conversion, operations like Booleans or the creation of drawings from solids are possible without a problem,even if the source model was inaccurate or had typical construction-related geometry errors.
