Product Details:
HP offers leadership mobile workstations and desktop workstations at great prices for SolidWorks® users. HP performance comes in part from features in the latest Intel i5, i7, and Xeon processors, advanced memory configurations, and graphics from NVIDIA and AMD that help users improve their design and visualization work. HP attention to detail for items like cooling allows Intel Turbo Boost to run at its best.
In addition, HP Performance Advisor allows users to easily configure and tune their systems. With just a few clicks, users can monitor how their applications perform on the system, easily make adjustments to improve performance, or monitor over time to see if a component upgrade is needed.
For ease of upgrading and support, a tool-less chassis on both our desktop and mobile workstations simplifies system management by allowing users to remove and replace system components without the need of a screwdriver or other tools.
The HP EliteBook Mobile Workstations family allows users to take their work on the road, delivering the power, speed, and high-end graphics needed to run SolidWorks applications - all in a compact, yet highly durable, design. These systems are also tested to tough military standards; for example, these units passed a test of 30 drops, significant temperature fluctuations, and vibration tests¹.
Certified to perform
HP is committed to providing products that are optimized to run SolidWorks applications. In support of that commitment, HP assigns engineers to test, certify, and support its full line of workstations to ensure the reliability and performance of those products. HP personnel also partner with SolidWorks and graphics vendors such as NVIDIA and ATI to ensure that HP workstations, SolidWorks applications, and graphics elements work together seamlessly.
In addition, tools like HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS), which ship at no additional cost on HP Workstations, help improve collaboration by allowing team members to access and share the desktop of a remote computer over a standard network. Users can share a desktop in real time with others or access a desktop from a remote location, with all the same functionality as being there.
Maybe it is time for you to take a look at HP technology, so you too can get the most from your investment. Additional information about the desktop HP Z Workstations and HP EliteBook Mobile Workstations is available on the HP website.
