SolidWorks Composer Installation Instructions
Once you have installed SolidWorks Composer, you can run the software for 30 days with no license required.
Some notes:
- To activate the license, you need to run as administrator the first time. To do so, you need to RMB on the Composer icon in the Start menu and select ‘Run as administrator’.
- To reduce file size downloaded, this trial version does not include the SolidWorks importer. This means that you would need to have SolidWorks on your machine to open your SolidWorks CAD files. If you need to test the full SolidWorks Composer (with the SolidWorks importer), please contact your SolidWorks reseller so they provide it to you.
