Project Adventure

Project Adventure (PA), a nonprofit organization, has transformed lives through adventure-based education since 1971. Its experiential programming provides opportunities for individuals to work effectively with others, gain self-confidence, and learn skills that are critical to their personal development.
Highlights of the program include:
- Youth and college programs at PA’s Massachusetts and Georgia campuses, in which 7,000 children and young adults participate annually
- Programming in schools and other organizations that train 4,000 teachers, counselors, and youth workers to implement Project Adventure
- A Covington, Georgia-based residential treatment program and special education school that serves more than 800 adolescents and young adults with special behavioral and emotional needs each year
PA school programs are found in many towns where SolidWorks employees live. SolidWorks is now in its third year of supporting the greater community by providing financial sponsorship for PA programs for youth at risk.
