Accelerated Product Design and Engineering is a product design consulting firm specializing in the development of medical devices, consumer products, and commercial equipment. The company needed a complete design package to support its work from intial concept through manufacturing production.
The company chose SolidWorks CAD software because it provides the most complete design package that brings products from concept to production. Because of the software's ease-of-use for modeling, rendering, and drawings, the firm was aple to opened the door to new industry: puzzles and games. One example is the Wineloc Game and Puzzle for wine enthusiasts, which is based upon the Cryptex made popular in Dan Brown's book, "The DaVinci Code." SolidWorks was used to take the game from concept to production.
