The Challenge
Axxess Technologies provides a number of telephone and data management solutions. One of our challenging projects was to create an affordable, user friendly modeler to allow veterinary clinics to increase revenue by providing the capability of producing registration and pet ID tags at the office.
The Solution
We evaluated a number of CAD packages but chose SolidWorks for its ease of use. Pro/Engineer was too complicated for our users. The SolidWorks Windows-based interface made the learning curve shorter. SolidWorks software offered greater ease-of-use and more standard features for the money. SolidWorks was the right choice for our medium-complexity product development.
