The Challenge
Chadwick-Helmuth is the leader in providing vibration and analysis equipment for the aerospace industry. The company needed to create complex sheet-metal parts and designs and wanted software that included true modeling capabilities.
The Solution
We evaluated AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Pro/ENGINEER, but chose SolidWorks software because it delivers everything that even some high-end modeling packages did not offer. With other packages the added functionality was available at an added price. Sheet-metal design capability is the main reason we chose SolidWorks, and the functionality improves with each revision.
