The Challenge
Fogg Filler is a leading innovator in the filling industry. Customers use the company’s automation solutions to efficiently fill and cap containers with fluids as diverse as antifreeze, water, household products, pharmaceuticals, and milk. Fogg Filler manufactures some of the best-performing rotary filling systems available, including systems that fill 1,000 bottles per minute. To respond to demands for better performance, greater complexity, and additional capabilities, the company decided to upgrade its AutoCAD® 2D design tools to a 3D design platform.
The Solution
Fogg Filler selected SolidWorks® software as its standard design platform, implementing 19 licenses. Fogg Filler chose SolidWorks because it is easy to use, supports large assembly design, and includes motion simulation tools.
