- Graudated students with CWSA certification
The Challenge
The Howard-Suamico School District (HSSD) in suburban Green Bay, Wisconsin, entered the new millennium needing to upgrade its AutoCAD® 2D tools to a 3D parametric CAD system. The school district wanted to implement 3D CAD technology to better prepare its Technology and Engineering students. In addition, the school system wanted a 3D package that facilitated learning and enabled partnerships with local manufacturers to provide students with outside experience.
The Solution
HSSD chose SolidWorks Education software because of its ease of use, widespread industry usage, integrated simulation tools, broad data compatibility, effective tutorials, and flexible curriculum. By deploying SolidWorks, HSSD increased enrollment in its Technology and Engineering Program, facilitated partnerships with private industries, gave every student the chance to discover 3D CAD technology, and graduated students with Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification.
