Lycée Technique Privé St. Etienne
- Improved student visualization of parts and assemblies
- Increased the speed of creating assemblies
- Prepared students to work in engineering anywhere in the world
Lycée Technique Privé Saint Etienne is a technological high school in France, educating approximately 1,400 students each year. For teachers, the challenge was to clearly explain the benefits of CAD and how it simplified the manufacture of mechanical products. As a result, the faculty needed 3D CAD software that was easy to teach to mechanical engineering students.
The faculty chose SolidWorks® CAD software because it allows students to better visualize parts, subassemblies, and assemblies. Another benefit is the speed of creating an assembly in SolidWorks® CAD software. With experience using SolidWorks® CAD software, the students are better prepared to work anywhere in the world.
