Trek Bicycle Corporation is the leading bicycle brand, manufacturer, and distributer in the world. Trek creates bicycles and bicycle-related products that are distributed and loved worldwide. Trek owns, distributes, and develops products for Bontrager, Gary Fisher, tour-winning (Greg) LeMond Cycles, Klein, Diamant, and Villiger as well as creating the world-class, Tour De France-winning Discovery Team (formerly USPostal team) bicycles and components. Trek works with vendors in the United States, Europe, and Asia. SolidWorks CAD software provides the ability for Trek designers and engineers to share and leverage databases easily, effectively, and efficiently with nothing lost in translation.

The parametric and configuration capabilities were a great draw as well as BOM management tools, integratd FEA, and complex surfacing features, all for a price that fit the budget. On the LeMond Carbon Triomphe bicycle project, the surfacing features in the latest version allowed us to create fluid surfaces and jam them through eleven different frame sizes in about half the time of normal projects.
