"I continue to use SolidWorks CAD software in college because it is a powerful yet easy to use CAD system."
- Andrew Stupp, Student

The Challenge

As a student in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at the State University of New York Institute of Technology SUNY IT, I use SolidWorks CAD software to conduct solid modeling and rapid prototyping in conjunction with coursework.

The Solution

I used SolidWorks CAD software to model a trebuchet, a medieval engine of war for hurling large stones and missiles, for my senior project in high school. I continue to use SolidWorks CAD software in college because it is a powerful yet easy to use CAD system.
