"In one year, we have produced more than 40 tools that include sand cast patterns, die cast molds, and injection molds for plastic. SolidWorks CAD software is the future for the casting industry"
- Jeff Carnevali, President and CEO

The Challenge

For more than 26 years I wanted hardware and software to catch up with my demands for a way to quickly and easily produce shapes that could be generated with machines. I needed a model that could build variations to the basic length, ball size and wall thickness. I needed to produce complex shapes required for a double socket arm. Our customer, Intel, suggested we use SolidWorks CAD software.

The Solution

SolidWorks CAD software has allowed us to quickly, easily, at an affordable price and in-house: design, rapid-prototype, CAM the part molds and produce parts in less than 3 weeks. We make parts so fast that within 24 hours we are digitally photographing the end product. We also use SolidWorks CAD software to develop rapid-prototype patterns that we use in our foundry. With this model, we can build variations to the basic length, ball size and wall thickness within 10 minutes. There are now more than 12 sizes of this arm model. Thank you, SolidWorks, for doing a great job of listening and responding to our needs.
