The Challenge
Ovidiu Opresco Studios specializes and excels in web design and development, graphic design, packaging design, solid modeling, 3D animation, new product development, and engineering. A self-taught engineer, I needed a versatile 3D modeling package capable of producing realistic product models for web and promotional animation. In one particular instance, a client asked, "What software do you need to produce high-impact realistic 3D product animation?" The very next day, a SolidWorks reseller called to arrange delivery of a SolidWorks package, compliments of the client. SolidWorks CAD software provides me with extraordinary solid modeling power.
The Solution
After evaluating Autodesk Inventor (Special Trial Edition), I decided in favor of SolidWorks CAD software mostly because Inventor lacks the subtlety I was looking for. SolidWorks is intuitive. It took me about to week to master the entire program, and I obtained beautiful results.
