The SolidWorks team consists of 41 members of the SolidWorks community - customers, partners, resellers, and employees.

On August 7th and 8th, 2004, 41 members of Team SolidWorks participated in the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) 2004 , a 192 mile (400 km), two-day bike trek from Sturbridge to Provincetown, MA.

The PMC is the nation's original fundraising bike-a-thon, and today raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. It is also the most cost-efficient, with more than 97 cents of each dollar raised going directly to The Jimmy Fund , the fundraising arm of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute .

In its 25th year, the PMC raised over $20 million, bringing its 25-year total of fundraising to over $122 million, all of which went directly to cancer treatment and research.

Team SolidWorks consists of members of the SolidWorks community, including employees, resellers, partners, customers, and friends. Last year, the team rode in memory of Chris Berg, our friend and colleague who passed away from cancer at the young age of 29. This year, the team rode for Erica Leafquist, the five-year-old daughter of one of our employees. Erica is currently being treated at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and has just undergone a life-saving bone marrow transplant.

In its third year of participation, the team has grown to 41 riders and 11 volunteers (up from six individuals in its first year). Thanks to donations from individuals and corporations alike, the team raised over $182,000 USD for the PMC, surpassing their original goal of $160,000 USD. This brings the total three-year contribution of Team SolidWorks to more than $280,000 USD.

The team thanks its many corporate and personal contributors, especially the Gold and Silver sponsors listed below:

Gold Sponsors ($2,500 USD and above)

Silver Sponsors ($1,500 to $2500 USD)

3DVision Technologies

Arrow Direct, Inc.
