Burt Rutan shares vision of 3D future at SolidWorks World 2005

SolidWorks World 2005 keynote Burt Rutan is uniquely qualified to discuss the ability of small teams of engineers and designers to meet the gigantic challenges of the future. A world-renowned aerospace engineer and designer, Rutan and his business partners recently claimed the $10 million Ansari X-Prize for the record-setting flights of SpaceShipOne, the world's first privately manned spacecraft.

The Product Design Showcase at SolidWorks World encompasses a variety of activities that enable SolidWorks customers to share their successes with other members of the SolidWorks community and more than 80 members of the worldwide press. On day three of the event, finalists of the SolidWorks 2004 Design Contest will be presented on stage, and winners will be announced and awarded prizes valued at more than $180,000 USD.
