PDMWorks Enterprise is a product data management (PDM) software solution that can be deployed in a fraction of the time required by other enterprise PDM systems. PDMWorks Enterprise is uniquely suited to the needs of large, distributed design teams. PDMWE is built on Microsoft® SQL server. This allows companies to take full advantage of what a DB has to offer.

A standard configuration of a PDMWorks Enterprise installation is shown in Figure 1.

User Interface
The UI (user Interface) of PDMWorks Enterprise is very intuitive making transition from work group sharing to an enterprise environment very easy. PDMWorks Enterprise simplifies product changes and information sharing, as well as providing access via the web and the ability to integrate with other enterprise systems. The software's interface is highly intuitive, offering unmatched integration with Windows® Explorer.

PDMWorks Enterprise tracks and records every event, each workflow, and at every version. Audit tools record who did what and when, and how and why each change was made, simplifying preparation of internal quality reports as well as those required by regulatory agencies and ISO auditors. Auditing activities more effectively can help to identify potential problems early and improve processes continuously, increasing your organization's ability to compete.
