The strong orientation on the handling of project business is the main benefit of FactWork. FactWork offers a bi-directional online integration to different 3D CAD systems such as SOLIDWORKS. New articles can be taken directly from SOLIDWORKS and stored in the article master of FactWork. By using a master-article, a new article can be created. Raw materials and work schedules are included. Alternatively, components and assemblies can be assigned to already existing articles in the ERP system. Identification, classification dates, and technical characteristics are adjusted between FactWork and the CAD systems. To save time and money, you can try to find similar parts and assemblies to simply copy and change them. You can initiate the exchange of the BOM directly from the CAD program. An updated index is carried along. The drawing number is stored in the article master record in FactWork so you can open the CAD drawing in FactWork after selecting the construction with the comfortable search icons.
