#  Bridge Design Project

Bridges are a vital part of a society's infrastructure. In this project, you design and fabricate a model bridge to learn the basics of CAD and 3D printing. These projects include documents, videos, and step-by-step instructions.

- **Grade:** 9-12
- **Length:** 2-4 hours
- **Difficulty:** Moderate
- **Software:** SOLIDWORKS xDesign (though SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD can also be used)
- **Learning Objectives:** Understand the different types of truss bridges. Design with constraints by applying design intent to the project. Explore and understand manufacturing principles. Understand the basics of 3D printing.
