EFICN SW is a CAM fully integrated into SOLIDWORKS managing 4-axis milling NC machines and 3-axis NC lathes. A post-processor editor is included in EFICN SW; you can write any syntax directly usable with all DNC and all technology.EFICN SW works in assembly mode, so you can create NC programs for one or several parts on the same table, and locate these parts on their holding devices. Tools can have a realistic display with cutting part, shank, and attachment. Tools and cutting parameters are saved in Access libraries.The user picks a face of the part, so EFICN SW analyzes the near faces and recognizes the type of the shape, such contours, pockets, holes, bores, slots, plane surfaces, and so on, and applies a suitable machining entity. A machining entity is a process for a type of shape, including instructions, tools, and technologic parameters. The machining entity inserted can be accepted just as it is or changed with additional instructions.
