Simmetrix provides a unique architecture allowing direct access to design geometry without translation. Simulation attributes and queries are performed on a unified topology simulation model and all necessary queries to the underlying design geometry are managed by the GeomSim interface. GeomSim CAD for SOLIDWORKS provides an interface to SOLIDWORKS via the SOLIDWORKS API. GeomSim CAD for SOLIDWORKS is part of the Simulation Modeling Suite and Simulation Application Suite product lines from Simmetrix. Both product lines offer toolkits for CAE application development and support SOLIDWORKS SP 3.0 (32 or 64-bit).
