GOelan V5 and SolidWorks free add-in.SolidWorks customers use the free GOelan-SolidWorks add-in when they need efficient exchange within their sub-contractors. This add-in launches GOelan V5 (reading the current SolidWorks part) if installed on the same computer as SolidWorks, or generates an embedded file named FTE (Feature Tools Exchange, including SolidWorks part, SolidWorks holes features, update functions) for processing on a different computer. The great advantage in such a case is the ability to send by e-mail a SolidWorks part to any sub-contractor that has GOelan. This dynamic link with SolidWorks is available with every GOelan machining module, such as milling 2 axes, 3 axes toolpaths, turning center (CBY axis-multi-turrets, multi-spindles), and wire EDM. When the SolidWorks model is changed, GOelan updates toolpaths under the user's control (automatic and comparison).
