Using the 'instant playback' capability, MechDesigner, is really a 'What You Watch , is What You Get'. The playback is a 'Simulation at Animation Speeds'. However, MechDesigner is a full kinematics design and simulation packages capable of much more than animations.With the built-in, extremely versatile and 'best-in-class' Motion Design dialogue, you can apply complex motions to any number of the mechanisms, and instantly derive and then save the coordinate data for any number of plate, barrel and even globoidal cams, exported directly to a SOLIDWORKS model if required. Motions for Servos can also be saved if needed. MechDesigner will apply inverse kinematics to any mechanism, as required. This means you can just as easily apply your motion designs to the machine tooling - at the critical machine to material interface - and let MechDesgner derive the necessary motions for the Cam and Cam Follower or Servo. If required, MechDesigner also instantly and continuously derives all shows all the bearing forces for bearing sizing, and torques for servo-sizing.With the 'Design Sets' tool, you can optimize your designs, by continually reviewing you model and any kinematic parameter, if requried, even while your model is cycling.With MechDesigner, you can 'Design, Scrutinize and Optimize' your machine design with the amazing simulation speeds, and even 'edit on-the-fly' while you watch you model perform.
