Bending Simulation:With this software solution, plant designers can carry out a feasibility check as early as the design phase. The bendability of bent tube parts is quickly and easily checked in the background and, if necessary, visualized in borderline cases. In addition to the geometry of the machine (CAD model), the necessary kinematics for the production of a bending component are mapped. It checks for collisions between tube and machine body/bottom/wall/other components, which would make bending impossible in reality.Pipe Fabrication:The PIPEFAB software optimizes and networks process planning and control in pipe production. It facilitates the planning and organisation of all areas of pipeline construction. 3D Laser Scans:Smap3D ScanToCAD ensures that designers will now be able to more quickly transfer existing physical surfaces and geometry from 3D scans/point clouds into the CAD, instead of drawing these themselves. Mulitple 3D scans can be referenced or the individual scans can be integrated into an overall project. The software transfers the selected 3D geometry directly to SOLIDWORKS. The free viewer can make the point cloud available as the as-built and the 3D design as the target status.
