DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, OTC Processes & Training, SolidWorks (EMEA) will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in customer service activities. In addition, he or she will plan, prepare, and develop work schedules, according to workloads and abilities. Additional duties include:
•Managing a team of 4+ customer service professionals; to include performance management and day to day direction.
•Resource management; to include career development, staffing and termination decisions.
•Communicating with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.
•Interpreting and communicating work procedures and company policies to staff.
•Resolving complaints and answering questions from customers regarding services and procedures.
EDUCATION: 2:2 Degree in Business Administration or similar. . Other, similar, qualifications will be considered.
REQUIREMENTS:
Thanks to our significant customer base in EMEA, fluency in English and ability with another European language (FIGS, preferred French) is required.
•2 +years previous management or supervisory experience in a customer service capacity in a technology driven company.
•Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
•Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
•Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and Microsoft Office suite.
•Principles and methods for teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
•General mathematic and language skills are essential.
•Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
•Must be results oriented with a track record for achieving or exceeding defined operational goals.
