Position Objective:
Develop programs to generate leads and help grow reseller and SOLIDWORKS license sales and revenue.
Description:
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for two key areas:
- Leading the growth of the marketing capabilities and actions of the resellers in Australia and New Zealand. This position will work with the sales and technical team in the designated area to increase the marketing effectiveness of SOLIDWORKS resellers in the area to maximize revenue and success for both parties.
- Driving programs across Asia-Pacific region to increase installed base penetration, improve close loop management process, and develop/rollout sales enablement tools.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute new marketing programs and manage marketing budget
- Lead and train reseller marketing representatives
- Manage regional PR agency to reinforce SOLIDWORKS positioning and enhance branding awareness
- Create and execute effective regional lead generation programs (online/web marketing, telemarketing, seminars, tradeshows, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships
- Conduct market, industry, competitor, and customer research and analysis
- Develop external communication tools including website, newsletter, social media, etc.
- Develop local cases studies and reference selling tools
- Measure and track ROI for new marketing programs
- Work closely with SOLIDWORKS Asia Pacific Marketing Team and understand and align with the Asia-Pacific and Global marketing initiatives
Skills & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with specialization in marketing from recognized institute
- 5+ years marketing experience through full-time jobs, preferably in a high-tech corporate or channel marketing environment, with a proven track record in marketing, creating and executing new programs, initiating new ideas, and lead generation
- Experience in online/web marketing will be a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational, management, and analytical skills
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with ability to set and meet deadlines, understand organizational goals, and show flexibility in changing environment
- Strong project management skills, with ability to manage projects independently from start to finish and interact positively with employees at all levels, external vendors, resellers, prospects, and customers
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines
