JOB TITLE: Technical Support Engineer – Analysis Products
LOCATION: Munich, Germany
DESCRIPTION: Become part of the team that provides the best technical services and support in the industry! Provide comprehensive telephone/e-mail technical support to customers and resellers for our COSMOS FEA software. Provide reseller and user training seminars, tradeshow support as well as paid consulting services. Analyze, track and resolve customer issues in a professional, timely manner. Develop workarounds for specific problems and communicate them to customers and resellers.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years CAD industry experience with a specialization in FEA.
EDUCATION: MS in Mechanical Engineering
REQUIREMENTS: • Strong knowledge of the MCAD/FEA/PDM industry coupled with a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 to 3 years mechanical design/analysis experience. • Must be an expert user of COSMOS (or similar FEA) software. Experience in providing paid consulting services in FEA solutions design and implementation as well as creating training course curriculum and conducting training sessions is a plus. • Must have proven strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent customer relations skills. • Must have 3D solid modeling and FEA experience and actual mechanical design work experience. • Having a background in consultation services sales is a plus. • We are seeking a candidate who has knowledge and experience in the following areas: o Linear and Nonlinear Structural Analysis o Heat Transfer o Fluid Mechanics o Motion simulation or Multibody dynamics
